 To My Beautiful Disasters... My road to recovery has been a long and heartfelt battle. I lost more than I have won. I have fallen and faltered many times throughout many years. I have made many mistakes, as most people are prone to do, but my decisions have lead me down dark and lonely roads which I have struggled greatly with to come back from. I have come back from the brink, one of the lucky few. So many have lost their way, only never to be found again. I had to take the first steps on my own, but on my long journey back from Hell, I noticed that I still had some Love from those who truly believed that the good part of me still existed, buried deep inside me somewhere, and I was no longer alone. My war is far from over. Every day forward will be a struggle. Every Demon I have acquired over the years have become lifelong companions. Battles to be fought and won on a daily basis.  One of the hardest parts of taking up an interest in someone is deciding whether it's the chase, the challenge or the prize that you're looking for. Each has it's own consequences and rewards. It's up to you to weigh the cost.....

 Our task must be to free ourselves by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty. The Universe wants us to know that life is a series of beginnings, not endings. Just as graduations are not terminations, but commencements. Creation is an ongoing process, and when we create a perfect world where love and compassion are shared by all, suffering will cease. Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive. Without them, we wouldn't be here. So today, even if it's just today, show someone some love, share some compassion and see how the Universe rewards you for it.  Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength. To be a champion of your soul, I think you have to see the big picture. It's not about winning and losing, it's about every day hard work and about thriving on a challenge. It's about embracing the pain that you'll experience at the end of the day and not being afraid. If you think too hard, you become afraid of a certain challenge. Just get out there and do something and you'll realize that anything can be done and nothing is as bad as you can make it out to be in your own mind.....

 Success is not final. Failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts... The cost? The cost of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.  Good afternoon My lovely Creatures... The question that we must ask is whether we are making progress toward the goal of peace with the Universe. Are we caught up on a treadmill of our personal history, turning forever on the axle of mindless aggression and self-destruction? We don't have to be mindless at all. Aggression is not a breed thing or a type, it's a state of mind. We can use this powerful emotion. You are in control of your mind. Your mind controls your body. Which is why you tense up when angered, or flow like water when determined. You just have to decide what state you want your mind to be in. Aggression only moves in one direction, more aggression. I'm in favor of destruction, aggression, hating things. Not bearing things anymore. We think the breakdown comes because our life is in bad shape, but maybe the ideas cause the disorder. Something tries to break through and causes the disorder. It is up to us to fight back against the tyranny of our own personal D

 When you're fearless, you take more risks because you're less conscious of failure or what can go wrong. I tend to think you're fearless when you recognize why you should be scared of things, but do them anyway. You only get one life so you might as well make it a happy one, and that's why you should just jump into things. Be sort of a fearless idiot that way. No human is without fear... Let us not ask to be sheltered from dangers but to be fearless when facing them.....

 I've spent my entire life destroying. Damaging all those that came in contact with me. Turning Love into Hate. Tearing down every wall that was put up... Now I'm removing all the dirt. I'm making room for a solid foundation. It's time to rebuild what was once great.....

 Opportunities are like sunrises. If you wait too long, you miss them. Every day we have plenty of opportunities to get angry, stressed or offended. But what you're doing when you indulge these negative emotions is giving something outside yourself power over your happiness. You can choose to not let little things upset you. You control so much more of your Destiny than you could ever imagine. Sometimes opportunity doesn't present itself, you must create it yourself. If opportunity isn't knocking, build a door. Don't wait for extraordinary opportunities. Seize common occasions and make them great. Weak men wait for opportunities, strong men make them. Become the opportunist. Decide your fate.  Good Afternoon My Lovely Creatures... I'm aware of the mystery around us, so I write about premonitions, my failures, coincidences, emotions, dreams, the power of nature, magic within each of you, my past, your future, success on the most basic scale... It's true that I have very little idea what I shall be writing next, but at the same time I have a powerful premonition of everything that lies ahead of me, and it scares me, but I run towards it regardless, for it's my Destiny and I shall embrace it... When all the world appears to be in chaos, and nature itself is feeling the assault of climate change and global warming and nuclear weapons program tests and all types of accidental warfare from us, the seasons retain their essential rhythm. Yes, fall gives us a premonition of winter, but then, winter, will be forced to relent, once again, to the new beginnings of soft greens, longer light, and the sweet air of spring.  It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell. Human beings, we have dark sides. We have dark issues in our lives. To progress anywhere in life, you have to face yourself and know that you are in control of your journey. If you don't deal with your demons, they will deal with you, and it will hurt.....

 If someone doesn't keep pace with or hold the same strides as their friends, perhaps it's because they hear a different drummer. Let them step to the music which they listen to, however measured or far away that sound may be, as long as you keep marching forward.....

 Every day we should hear at least one little song, read one good poem, see one exquisite picture and, if possible, speak a few sensible words. Every moment and every event of every man's life on earth plants something inside himself. Let us make our future now, and let us make our dreams tomorrow's reality. Don't ever think that there's something that you can not do. You are capable of some pretty amazing things.....

  PHOTOGRAPHER EXTRAORDINAIRE I first heard about Tamar through an old friend, Rob Sheridan , from the early  MySpace days.  They've been one of favorite photographers for many years as they have a unique eye;  Tamar has an eye that can make some awkward posed humans look uniquely beautiful.  I love that they aren't like most published photographers.  I love the wide/long-shot style , as well as their medium close-up style  they have in their work.  And my god, the colors .  LOVE LOVE LOVE . One of these days, I'd like to sit down with Tamar for interview but for now, I'm just going to feature some of favorite shots by them and give you some background information about the talent.  Information was taken directly from their website . Along my journey my path had diverged and forked into many roads, I took the ones less traveled by, suffered a great deal but I decided to get back on the right path and that has made all the difference.....  In passing, I grab and hold your hands. I want to look you in the eyes and tell you how much you mean to me. I want to make you smile to melt my heart.  Your present circumstances don't determine where you can go, they simply determine where you start. It's quite easy to set yourself upon the positive path, for all you need to do is make up your mind to do so, and so shall it be. It's amazing what you are capable of... It is always the simple that produces the marvelous.....

 People tell you the world looks a certain way. Parents tell you how to think. Schools tell you how to think. TV. Religion. And then at a certain point, if you're lucky, you realize you can make up your own mind. Nobody sets the rules but you. You can design your own life.....

 To My Lovely Creatures,  The best thing one can do when it's raining is to let it rain. The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain. Into each life some rain must fall. Some people walk in the rain, others just get wet. It's all really up to you to decide how much or how little this day, this moment, even this very minute means to you and how important it will be for the rest of your days. You can either feel the rain and run for shelter or you can keep it moving and embrace one of the key elements of life. Do what you feel is best for you and I will support you the same way you've supported me all along.  We gotta learn to see the beauty in each moment of life. Everyone has different pasts and we're seeking the light. I'm here for you, not for any self centered reasons, but because existence is interdependent and we're all related.  Sometimes you just have to take a chance. Don't waste time wondering. Just shoot your shot. You never know what good could come from trying something that scares the hell out of you. In all honesty, half the time failure just means that nothing really changes except now you're clear on where you stand when previously you weren't sure at all. Go for it!
